Located on the north-eastern end of Isle Royale, the Rock Harbor Lodge is the perfect location for a family vacation, honeymoon or weekend getaway!

The trip begins and ends with a scenic ride aboard the MV Voyageur II, departing from Grand Portage, MN. Visitors have the opportunity to travel around the entire park, while entering various coves and bays. The gorgeous landscapes and animal life offer constant views to passengers throughout the trip.

Visitors can choose between American-plan rooms on the lake, with meals from the Lodge Dining Room included, or European plan, with meals available separately. Also available are housekeeping cottage in the forest, where visitors can stay in complete solitude.

Activities in the Rock Harbor area include water tours aboard the MV Sandy, charter fishing, paddling, day hikes, cultural interpretive programs, historical sightseeing and more! Boat and canoe rentals add to the list to ensure a fun, adventurous stay.

Campers and other visitors may also enjoy a meal at the Lodge Dining Room as well as other services offered by the Lodge.
